Windows Vista Home Premium: My Experience

Windows Vista… What more can I say for all of the people out there that have been brainwashed by someone else that got brainwashed by someone else that had a bad experience…

I am a 15 year computer technician.  I do not like getting the new software for the most part.  This is not because I don’t want it, but I like to see how it does before I get it.  When it comes to Vista, I got it, and installed it because I kept hearing how customers couldn’t get the hang of it.

Realistically… There isn’t much a person can get confused doing on Vista.  Vista is a cleaned up XP.  The interface is much more pleasing to look at.  Believe it or not, there was a patch that someone made for XP that made it look identical to the now sold Vista.  Vista has a lot more features than any of Microsofts earlier versions.

Media Center, Movie Maker, DVD Maker, Games are just a few of the additions.

Yes, there are bugs in Vista, but there are bugs in everything we buy nowadays.  If you can find something without bugs, then you have gotten real lucky.

The way Microsoft prevents piracy, and borrowing of OS software is very efficient.

I give Vista a 8 out of 10.
