I have always been a PS3 person. Recently our nephew brought us a XBox home and asked me to sell it. I knew enough about gaming systems to know that this unit wouldn’t be good for me unless it had a XBox wireless adapter because I don’t want to run anymore Cat5 cables.
I checked through everything that he had brought me and found that there was no wireless adapter. I am now trying out the XBox to see how I like the experience. I will let you know more once I have tried out a few games.
This briefing is to familiarize yourself with a situation that could possibly be the biggest situation of our time. The forces are tenatively scheduled for deployment in Q1 of 2010.
As most people will acknowledge, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is probably one of the most highly anticipated games for the 2009 year. While many were not happy with some things that were left out of, or buggy in Bad Company, There appears to be something on the horizon.
They will be sticking with the 24 person maximum online play. There appears to be a vast addition to the motorpool in this episode, such as quads, and black hawks. The buildings will now be totally destructable. It appears that there will be another game mode in addition to the ones that we already have. The maps are claimed to be bigger than before.
I am totally psyched about this game. I play Battlefield: Bad Company with my neighbor, and my friends currently. We are all anticipating what carnage we will be able to bring to each other.
Hopefully the squad situation, and chat situation are fixed in this release.
If you run into anyone that claims C.O.D. is better than Battlefield, then you have really met someone that has missed the boat, or just can’t handle a game that actually demands skill, and teamwork. On a level from 1 to 10… C.O.D. is a 2. Battlefield will always be much higher. I cannot give Bad Company more than an 8 because of the shortages, and issues all of the players have seen.
For those of you that are into FPS (First Player Shooters), then I can imagine that you have played Battlefield at least once. Most of you probably still play Battlefield.
I began playing Battlefield on the Playstation 2.
The title is Battlefield: Modern Combat.
For todays gamer the graphics in this game were not as good as they are now, and being that most of the Playstation 3 units that are still out aren’t backwards compatible, the game has more than likely lost interest.
The newest title is Battlefield: Bad Company.
In Battlefield: Bad Company you are part of a squad of soldiers that have gotten a bit sidelined in their duties. Why you ask. They have found out that there is gold, and they want it.
This is a trailer for Battlefield: Bad Company
The internet play is great in comparison to Modern Combat. There are still issues that never got worked out. I can imagine that this is because the newest Battlefield is due out around December 2009. The new title is Battlefield: Bad Company 2. The only trailer available to date can be found below.
While Battlefield is a great PS2 / PS3 / XBox game there is also another side to the series of games. There is also a PC series that is also great to play.
The Battlefield 2 series for the PC was the only one I actually played. There were many things to do, and a lot of action. In the PC version there was a Commander feature that really made the game stand out.
EA / Dice has taken at least one of the levels from the Battlefield 2 game, and made them part of a new game that will be available from the Playstation store in June 2009 for $14.99. Below you will find a trailer for that game.
