I have been avoiding Seaside Heights for a few years now. Ever since I stopped working as a private security guard I haven’t had the desire to go there. I don’t even like to go to that town for work. Well, recently I went to Seaside to check out a job that needed servicing. When I got into the town I had a bad feeling. I turned the corner one block from my destination, and saw a police car following me. I knew I wasn’t doing anything wrong.
A minute later I saw lights flashing behind me. I pulled over, and asked the officer what I had done. He said nothing, and that my vehicle wasn’t registered. He advised me that the camera system on the car had run my plate. I searched my paperwork to find that the dealership I purchased my truck from hadn’t taken the time to renew my registration. The officer went back and talked to his supervisor about not towing the vehicle. I only received a ticket.
Don’t you just love it when people don’t do the things that they belong doing?
If you can’t make a game work for everyone… Don’t make a game, or don’t do updates.
I was a faithful Market Street player on Facebook. This was until last week sometime when Playdom decided to do a upgrade to the game. While I understand that updates make games more enjoyable I also understand that when something doesn’t work for everyone that something needs to go back to its original state until the update is debugged. I have sent in tickets to Playdom and gotten back that they are working on the issue and then they close my ticket. Hmmm? Why close a ticket to a problem that isn’t resolved? Pretty counterproductive of the initial problem ticket even being made. Don’t even bother telling them that due to their issues you have lost your bonus, or inventory because they don’t care.
They have even tried implying it was software on my computer. What they fail to realize is that my wife, and daughter both play on Market Street and it works on that account. It isn’t a Flash, Shockwave, Browser, or any other type of incompatibility. Try again.
So here is what we should ALL do. Flood the Playdom ticket system with tickets about our inoperable Market Street games. Maybe then they will help resolve everyones issue with the game.

When a person gets into an accident and the insurance company determines who they feel is at fault is probably the most crooked determination in the world. If the police don’t charge anyone, then who is the insurance company to decide what they don’t have any clue about? I was involved in an accident in which the driver of another car moved to the middle of a lane because she was turning left, and then decided to turn right, but I struck their car slightly when she came into my trucks path. Allstate determined that I was at fault, and this caused my insurance rates to be subject to an increase with any company, even the ones that have cheap auto insurance quotes knowing about this ticket. Geico said there was nothing I could do, but I am anxious to get to the bottom of the matter. This is also the same company that decided that they were going to cancel my policy because I didn’t send in a survey that in fact I never received. If you have Allstate then I suggest based on experience… Run… Don’t walk.
Does anyone have any suggestions for contesting a determination?
