I know that the President has made it with his health care reform. What does the legislature actually mean to most of us? I don’t really know, but would like to. I know that prior to the package being passed we heard about it quite a bit. Now that it is passed we all hear small reports about it, but nothing major. I was reading that even Blue Cross Blue Shield NC had started a campaign against the package, and the customers were a little irate because they obviously spent money to do this, and that would generally effect the policyholders. Here in NJ we didn’t get anything that I can think of. I am not really sure that it will actually hurt most of the lower class people of the U.S. Some people have little insurance if any, so having some sort of guaranteed insurance will help a lot of people out.
What is your take on the Presidents healthcare package?

I recently read some of the legislation that the President is looking to put through. One of the things he is looking to cap off is the sale of cigarettes over the internet. What I don’t understand is that the President sees how much alcohol is hurting the people of the nation, and he doesn’t want to do anything about that. Think about it… How many people get injured, or killed daily because of alcohol?
I am sure that there is someone working to keep alcohol out of the limelight, and I am also sure that there is someone working to keep cigarettes in the limelight. The other hot thing that isn’t being acted on as hard as could be is cell phones. Between cell phones, and alcohol I would think that the death / injury count is greater than smoking injuries / deaths.
I know that when they push this law into effect that I will have to go to electronic cigarettes. What is your take on this?

First things first… President FIX the U.S. before you worry about anything else going on!
I am not a person that is greedy in any manner. I personally have some ill feelings towards our government at this point of the game. Think about this… The year is 2009, and a lot of people are losing their homes, jobs, and more. The problem doesn’t get any better going into 2010. Haiti has a disaster. STOP right there. I once again want to say that I am not against helping other people, countries, etc., but the U.S. needs to make sure that they take care of their own before they worry about others.
There are charities that are taking donations, and such so there will be plenty to help those that need it. The U.S. isn’t in any place to be dumping any major cash money into someone elses pockets. Yes, I do understand that the money is for hurricane relief, but we have a major hurricane going on here. That hurricane is in the form of a depression. No matter how you look at the situation here we are in some serious trouble. I wonder if the President makes diet pill comparisons like he makes the “Wise” decisions for the U.S., and the people of the U.S.
How many more hard working people need to lose their homes before the government realizes that they dropped the ball? When is the war in the Far Far realms going to be discovered to be a waste of time? Simple… there will always be someone threatening the U.S. BinLadin is just another thug in this turf war. Sadam was silenced already. Who is next on the list for the U.S. to go after?
My best wishes go out to those still missing in Haiti. My sympathy for those caught in this tragedy.
Voice your opinion. Speak out about your feelings on money that should be used to help the U.S.
