I recently replaced my wifes camera because her 1 year old Kodak Printer Dock had a problem. Squaretrade gave back the full purchase price, so I hunted out the best camera for her. Upon looking there weren’t many in the cheap range that had a “Great” quality by my standards.
The Kodak Z812IS is a 8.1 megapixel digital camera. It has the option of electronic viewfinder, or display on the built-in 2.5″ lcd screen. The flash is fully automatic in the easy settings for the camera. If you go to one of the advanced modes, then you need to engage the flash. This camera takes HD photos. There are additional lenses available for this camera.
Some of the features: movie mode, stitch mode, and quite a few professional style modes.
The camera in general seems well built, and looks as if it should last quite some time. For us this is very important, as we take our camera everywhere.
We haven’t used the dock yet, but will soon. When we do I will post a review on it.
I give the camera a 10 out of 10.
