GPS Devices Aren’t Cheap

Several years ago I made the move from paper maps to a GPS.  This was due to ease of use, convenience, and updates that could be purchased.  Not very often do you run into a GPS unit that you want that is reasonably priced.  On top of that you usually can’t find a GPS that has multiple functions.

On the average I am going through GPS units every couple of years.  Size, capabilities, and features all factor into upgrading.

I just ran into a discounted price on the Garmin Rino 650 Canada unit.  While it is priced at @$500 through Garmin it is priced at @$470 at TheSource.

Do you have a GPS?  Have you gone through multiple units over the past few years?
