Dining At Chinese American Restaurants

We recently ate dinner at a local Chinese American restaurant that had just opened.  The original restaurant never faired well with me, and the new one seems just as bad.  The restaurant wasn’t even remodeled much from the original Old Country Buffet.

The food stations were well stocked, but the food was below par for my expectations of food.  When I eat I want to walk away satisfied, as with anything that I do.  The food was basically a colon cleanse for me.

The other amazing thing that I saw was the carving station was unattended.  Basically anyone could have grabbed the Razor Sharp Knife, and done whatever they pleased.  (Lawsuit waiting to happen.)

I think that theses Chinese-American types need to stop.  Cook, and serve what you know best, and stop trying to be like the rest.
