Contest Announced

Starting on the 15th of January we will be giving away a copy of the

JWL Media Productions Presents Fantasyland Classics

I personally loved this DVD.  It brought back memories of rides long gone.

This DVD relives some of the past attractions at Disney World Fantasyland.  Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, and the Skyway are 3 of the rides.  Actual ride-throughs are one of the things Jeff does best.  I hope to review more, and give away more of these.

I bought this DVD from MouseSurplus, and want to let “One” lucky person get their hands on this.  More DVD productions can be found at Http://www.jefflangedvd.com.

To be eligible leave a comment here on this site.  Each post will count towards a entry.

  2. Up until now I was not able to get on the site to comment. It did not seem to like my Apple. Hope this problem doesn’t come up elsewhere as I travel through.

  3. My husband and I were talking about these rides not too long ago!

  4. Nice Blog! I went to Disney when I was small and loved those rides. I would love to see them again.

  5. Thank you for this contest.

  6. This DVD looks wonderful! We are definite Disney fans here, and since moving to FL we love it even more!

  7. I love all things Disney and would love to see some of the things I did not get to experience as a child.

  8. Nice blog! I never got the chance to experience these rides (didn’t “discover” Disney until adulthood,) but I am a huge fan of ALL things WDW.

  9. What a great idea. I know I have ridden 20,000 Leagues and Mr. Toad, but i don’t remember what they were like.

  10. I know that Jeff Lange does some great work – I’ve seen his stuff over on Jim Hill – so I’m sure this DVD is great. Thanks for the contest!

  11. I loved Dream Flight. Was it cheesy? Yes but I loved it none the less. Not really sure what it was about that ride but it is the one I remember.

  12. Wow, my husband would love this! He never got to ride Mr. Toad so maybe this would let him know why I love it and miss it.

  15. so many memories ….happiest place on earth! :)

  16. Oh….such childhood memories. As an adult, I have only ventured to Florida, and I remember Mr Toad’s Wild Ride especially. I am such a Disney nut….just got back from Disney World the week before Christmas. Luv that place. Thanks for the giveaway

HA! Memories! I grew up in Anaheim in the 1950’s and my Mom worked at Disneyland! Boy she has some great stories! Love to watch this with her!

  18. When I was 10 my Dad took us to DL and I went on the Sub ride and thought it was great.
I went to DL again when I was 31 and the ride was already gone.
I won a trip to DL in ’07 for the grand opening of the Nemo ride (which replaced the original Yellow sub)….now that is a great ride but will never replace my memories of the original Yellow Sub ride.

  19. I would love to win this DVD! My dad always laments how Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride is no longer in the Magic Kingdom, and a DVD like this would immerse him in his childhood of riding it.

  20. I loved Mr. Toads, but it scared me half to death!!!! LOL

I also loved 20,000 leagues. I wish it was still around so DH and DS could go on it. They both never even got to see it.

    I miss them both!!!!!!!!!!!!

  21. I always wanted to go on 20K! When I went in the 70’s, my parents said I was too young. By the time I made it back in 2002, it was closed!

  22. Great site! Thanks for running the contest!

  23. I remember going on both of those rides when I was a kid. I’m sure my kids would have liked 20,000 Leagues under the Sea. Guess we’ll never know.

  24. Speaking of Mr. Toad. When I was young my sisters got to go to WDW with family members but I was too small. Had to stay in Ohio. My sisters talked about the Toad for years. But I never got to experience. I dont want my kids to miss out!

  25. Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride is the one ride I wish my children could have experienced. I remember it being so much fun as a child! Thank you for this contest, that is very generous of you.

  26. Great Contest! Sadly, I never got to ride 20K at WDW (rode Submarines at Disneyland though). Always loved Mr. Toad

I remember when I was a kid I went on 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and being scared out of my mind. Watching videos of it now I can’t figure out why But I was actually surprised when I went in ’07, it had been 16 years or so since I had last visited before that, to find out that it was no longer there.

  28. It looks like a great DVD. Thanks for the contest!

  29. Great blog and cool contest! :-)

  30. I hope I win! :) Seriously, thanks for letting me know about this blog. It’s great!
