It Is Time I Look Into Getting Insurance

With my line of work comes some dangerous things.  I install satellites which puts me on roofs.  I install tvs which pits me against electric, tvs, and more.  I install CCTV systems which puts me on ladders.

I have always felt that I would live a very long time so I never felt the need to have a good insurance policy for either health, or life.  Now that I have been thinking about it I realize that if I had anything happen to me like falling and needing open back surgery that my family would not have any means of living comfortably.  The same goes if I lost my lie.

I am starting to look for a cheap insurance policy that I can get so that I can put my mind, as well as my family at ease.

Anxiously Awaiting My Quad To Return

I have bought a lot of things in life that I really didn’t need.  Many years ago I purchased a quad.  I don’t regret buying it.  I only now wish I had purchased 2 quads so that my wife, or my daughter could go riding with me.  Back before I went away to Florida my neighbor offered to take my quad into vocational school for a tune up and minor repairs.  It just so happens that I know the teacher from when my father knew a racing team.  I have only had to spend a few dollars on a spark plug at this point.  When the repairs are all done I plan to take weekend trips to my uncles to ride.  The only thing that I am going to have to get when all is said and done is 1 or 2 riding helmets.

It has been so long since I went out and just did something that I enjoyed.  I try not to do much because I am very money minded.

People Are So Shrewd

I have been a long time computer tech, tv tech, tv installer, and more.  Over the past few years I have noticed more, and more that customers are out for themselves, and will mow the technician over no matter what.  When I get to a customers home I am not required to move their existing tvs, and such.  For the most part my customers are very nice, and wouldn’t take advantage of me.  They know that I am reasonable for my work, and I take pride in doing my job well.

I just recently received an escallation about a job I did.  The escallation was that a tv I installed was not usable.  When I left the customer signed off, and I demonstrated that everything worked to the best of my capability.  The customer even gave me a tip.  I moved her old tv to the garage, and even drove out to a store to get her cables because she didn’t have the right ones at the time of installation.

I am glad that I am not like a doctor.  I don’t need things like malpractice insurance.  I am thankful for this because the way people always want to get one over on someone would make it so that my insurance company would be calling me every few days.
