Bloggers In Caring Follow Up
I got an email that gave me all of the follow up information from the Shoprite Partners In Caring Bloggers In Caring program.
As a result of the efforts, 3000 boxes of cereal will be donated out to the local food banks in the Shoprite areas.
To help keep the topic at the front of the line there is a video contest going on at: http://www.expressionsofhunger.com/. The contest will be going on from January 1, 2010 through March 1, 2010. The Expressions of Hunger video contest challenges everyday people to submit videos using song, poetry, dance or dramatic reading that creatively express the plight of the hungry or offer solutions to the issue of hunger.
We were among other bloggers that were lucky enough to have our photos appear in the mosaic that is on the back of the Honey Nut Cheerios box that is in stores now. I didn’t make it to any textbooks, but I did make it to a cereal box.
