We purchased a pretzel kit from Auntie Anne’s store in the Ocean County Mall. My daughter wanted to have something for the 2 of us to do on Fathers Day.
The kit comes with self explanatory, simple directions to follow.
We ran into a few small glitches, but what home cooking expert doesn’t? NO… I am NO cooking expert if you are asking. Anyway the box says that it makes 10 pretzels, but we got 9. A few pretzels were fatter than others, but who cares. They were unique, and fun to make.
The small issues were that my daughter was impatient, and got frustrated when trying to form the pretzels. She had also oversprayed the pans so the first batch wasn’t burnt, but was a little dark. Other than that all went well.
My daughter, and I try to spend as much time together, and this was a quality way to do it. If you are looking for something fairly inexpensive, and fun to do then I would definitelly suggest this kit.
