My Wife The Shopping Queen.

Does anyone have a significant other that is the “almighty” at shopping?  I have one, and her name is Debbie.

When she goes shopping with limited cash she can come home with a car load of items.  This is no different for Black Friday.  Prior to Black Friday she is scouring the local stores for pricing, and looking at online fliers for Black Friday.  On Black Friday she gets a few people together, and they go shopping.  She drops off each person at a location, and gives them cash, and lists.

When I say she is the shopping guru, I mean it.

My Neighbor and Their IPod.

I am a technically savy person, because I have been into technology since I was in high school.  I have learned to never give a “non-technical” person any sort of technology unless it is something that can be operated by an infant.

We were at my neighbors, and they stated that they couldn’t figure out how to jump chapters on the IPod.  My wife looked at it, and figured it out rather quickly.  (This from a totally non-technical person)  I know a lot of people that have ipods, and most have no issues.  In general I have no use for an IPod, but it seems that a good portion of the world is using ipods.

Having looked at some of the newer units, and their operation I can state that the technology has come a long way.  You can get ipods of almost any type, and size.

I have a blackberry, so I will not need an ipod anytime soon.

Ever Wanted To Go To Rome?

My neighbor was doing a travel report, and had to use my computer.  He asked me to help him find the most information available, so I started searching.  Their geography report was on Rome.

I happened to find a site that had a lot of travel searches for this topic.  When you are looking for pricing on travel for other countries you need to find a tool that will seemlessly have all of the information.

First he needed pricing on Rome accomodations.  We found a search dedicated to the Hotel Prague scene.  He then needed to search for other Hotels in Paris.    There are interactive maps, and searches based on city.

All in all this would be a site that I would use if I was traveling outside of the U.S.  The use of graphics, and simple searches are what most people seem to like on most sites.
